Help Support The Literacy Center of Harlingen
The Literacy Center of Harlingen operates on a very small budget (approximately $70,000 per year). Considering our operating expenses, it costs approximately $400 per year to educate one student.
$50 will sponsor a tutor training workshop
$100 will purchase five student workbooks
$200 will purchase ten student workbooks
$400 will provide instruction to one student for one year

Volunteer
Our volunteers are the life-blood of our organization. We are so grateful to them for their time, talents, and dedication. All teaching positions are volunteer.
Volunteers must complete a 6 hour workshop. (Workshops are offered in the spring and in the fall, and will be announced via social media)
