We offer E.S.L . (English as a second language) classes at 4 different levels which teach basic listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Our citizenship preparation classes provide individuals with the process and instruction needed to become United States Citizens.

Math tutoring is offered to students who need to improve their math skills in order to pass the GED test or other promotional exams.

All the programs offered at The Literacy Center are possible through volunteers who give their time and talents to serve the community.

Computer Instruction
We provide a variety of computer courses that cover reading comprehension, learning to speak and understand English, vocabulary, grammar, math, and a comprehensive G.E.D. study program.

Smaller classes allow volunteers to provide more tailored instruction and give students more time to ask questions.

The tutoring and class instruction we offer is available to any adult within the community and gives many the personal growth they need to better their lives.
